Our President, Edwin Harmon, is an industry leader and subject matter expert in the biopharma and biotechnology industries with over 30 years of unparalleled experience. Throughout his dynamic career, he has made significant contributions to companies such as Biopure, ImmunoGen, Sanofi, LSNE, and PCI Pharma services in the New England area.
With over 30 years of experience in manufacturing operations design, engineering, facilities management, and construction management for pharmaceutical and biotechnology capital projects, Edwin’s expertise extends to both project leadership and business leadership roles.
Edwin served in roles of increasing responsibilities from Director of Manufacturing Operations, Senior Director of Engineering and Facilities to Vice President of Engineering, Facilities, and Validation. He is a respected leader in the community and a valuable asset to any pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology company in promoting best practices and world-class operations.
Edwin has an engineering degree from West Virginia and Northeastern respectively and a background that encompasses a range of roles in Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Validation, and Facilities.
Edwin offers proven leadership skills in the overall responsibility and execution of complex life sciences projects in areas that include client liaison; project execution plans and schedules; estimating and budgets directing execution of engineering design procurement, construction, and start-up; and commercial and financial stewardship.
In addition, he is a member of the Board of Directors for the Boston chapter of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE) and the Middlesex Community College Biotechnology program. He is also a member of the Parental Drug Association (PDA), Association of Facilities Engineers (AFE), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), American Society of Quality (ASQ), American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), and the National England Healthcare Engineers Society (NEHES).
